HIGH TEMPERATURE INSULATION BOARDS

• SILCAL and MICROCAL are rigid high performance microporous low density Calciumsilicates. They are asbestos and mineral fibre free and environmental friendly. They offer efficient and economic solutions for many industrial insulation problems.


• SILCAL & MICROCAL are standard insulation materials for a variety of applications like kilns, furnaces, dryers and further high temperature thermal facilities. They are widely used in the cement, aluminium and petrochemical industry as well.


• SILCAL & MICROCAL have outstanding low thermal conductivities and low heat capacities. MICROCAL is equipped with a crystalline radiation reflector and therefore consists of superior insulation properties.


• SILCAL and MICROCAL are resistant to reduction gases, H2, CO, CH4, NH3, N2 SILCAL & MICROCAL have a high capillarity. For the use in contact with refractory concrete a hydrophobic coating is recommended to make the material water repellant, though separation foils are no more necessary.
